Apart from a myriad of comfort features, the H5 2.0 VGT also boasts the brand a new powerfull 4D20 turbo diesel engine that was developed and designed independently by Great Wall Motors. The H5 2.0 VGT manual and the H5 Auto Diesel are both available in 4×4 and 4×2 derivatives.

A greener, quieter and more energy- efficient diesel engine, the four-cylinder 4D20 engine meets Europe IV emission standards and carries EU certification. It features dual overhead camshafts, high-pressure common rail, variable geometry turbocharger (VGT), NVH noise control, an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system and an automatic valve clearance compensator.

Looking at the numbers, the 4D20 turbo diesel engine gives the H5 2.0 VGT plenty of power, with a maximum output of 110kw at 4000rpm, and a maximum torque of 310Nm at 1800 to 2800rpm.

GWM Owner Assist GWM has rebranded its Always Mobile fleet as Owner Assist to ensure mobility to GWM owners at all times.

The new fleet, which includes GWM models like the CB150, Steed 3 Double Cab and Steed 3 Workhorse, provides an excellent after-sales service to all GWM Owners.

The Owner Assist support vehicle fleet is at the service of GWM owners if the manufacturer is unable to find a part or repair their vehicles in a reasonable amount of time. Owner Assist vehicles are not however to be confused with courtesy vehicles, which GWM does not offer.

GWM South Africa Chairman, Tony Pinfold, says: “Owner Assist shows our customers that they are our first priority. If we cannot find a part or repair a vehicle within an acceptable timeframe, it is our responsibility to see to it that our customers are not left stranded.”
